The unique Cable-Core (Patent RU No.124834U) is comprised of 2 x 1.00 mm² (19 x 0.26 mm) multi-stranded BRC conductors, twisted symmetrically with 2 filling cotton cords and tightened with 2X-Cross PE tape as a common dielectric binding by means of FTDA technology. Each conductor utilizes SATI insulation: 5X-Cross porous PTFE (Teflon®) tape. Pioneered in the Reference IC, X-Shield NG (Patent RU No.124835U) is the next generation of our famous multi-element shielding system. It is a 4-layer interactive sandwich, where >50% BRC braid is enclosed by two layers of heavy 50 µ rolled BRC foil, with >85% copper tinsel braid applied as an outer layer. X-Shield NG serves for utmost EMI-RFI protection in a wider frequency range and reduces electrodynamic noise generated in the shield. Jacketed with Elastollan®, it is available in standard terminated lengths, covered by a nylon protective sleeve and fitted with the new stylish Reference V2 RCA & XLR plugs with the pins made of high grade 10 µ gold plated beryllium copper for analogue and digital (AES/EBU) audio.
